I had the great opportunity to speak with Brad Cashman
(1st Chair of the NHFS Rules committee out of PA)this
past Saturday evening, and a I asked him a couple questions:

If and when should we see the block in the back rule
amendment? He said it only missed by 2 votes this year (out
of 48 votes). PA is an experimental state that implimented
the call statewide, and has seen it being used VERY
successfully. There are a lot of old-school states out there
that won't budge for this one even though there was a lot
of push for it. Maybe next year.

Can we anticipate a change in which the endzones are made
live on kicks? This one has been on the table for A LONG
time, and it is gaining ground (OH has been driving this
for years), but this is not likely to pass for a few more
years.
