I've heard that Kukar and White have retired.

Any truth to this?

Confirmed. Gene Steratore and Jerome Borger (sp?) are the new referees. For more discussion about NFL referees, this site is good. http://refereestats.proboards22.com/index.cgi

I've heard that Kukar is none too happy about his 'retirement'. He was failed by the NFL doctor for his physical. He went to six other doctors who gave him the clearance but the NFL wouldn't budge. He had planned on one more year.

I did hear that White came form the USFL.

Can we now say that the USFL is officially debunked (sp?)? :)
