CCA Football Officiating Manual
I own a copy of the 2004 edition of the CCA Football Officiating Manual for a crew of 6. Wanted to know if there are any significant changes in the 2006 edition or is the 2004 version still good. I was wondering if I should purchase the 2006 edition. I'm in VA and we use NFHS rules and have 6 man crews for Varsity games.

Haven't seen the 2006 version yet.
They stated in section 1 of the 2005 manual that the CCA made no changes for the 2005 season, but they listed six areas which were considered "enhanced or modified" for 2005. That being said, I suspect there might be a few if any for 2006. Maybe just borrow someones for 2006. |

There was not any changes in the 7 man crew which would lead me to say no for 6 man. I does go on to say officials must be deligent in studying the manual. The cost is minimum and is tax deductible, add it to you library of other resources.
