CCA Football Officiating Manual

I own a copy of the 2004 edition of the CCA Football Officiating Manual for a crew of 6. Wanted to know if there are any significant changes in the 2006 edition or is the 2004 version still good. I was wondering if I should purchase the 2006 edition. I'm in VA and we use NFHS rules and have 6 man crews for Varsity games.

Haven't seen the 2006 version yet.

They stated in section 1 of the 2005 manual that the CCA made no changes for the 2005 season, but they listed six areas which were considered "enhanced or modified" for 2005.

That being said, I suspect there might be a few if any for 2006.
Maybe just borrow someones for 2006.

There was not any changes in the 7 man crew which would lead me to say no for 6 man. I does go on to say officials must be deligent in studying the manual. The cost is minimum and is tax deductible, add it to you library of other resources.

Breakdown and spend the extra $20 for a new 2006 copy. The people at Referee Magazine have done a great job with the CCA Manual. Your copy will be 2 years old!
