How many games do you have scheduled for the fall?

How far out do most officials schedule their football season?

The last two years I've gotten in pretty late and been taking games on as the season commences. I ended up doing about 13 the first year and 11 the second year.

This year I have 23 games scheduled already, ranging from 7th grade to high school sophomore games. I will probably end up with a few youth games as well, so I should double my career total by the end of this season.

How many games do you normally do in a season, and how early do you get scheduled? Just curious.

We don't get our college assignments until early July, and HS comes mid to late August.

I normally work around 50-60 games a year, of course, grade school up to Friday nights and at times on Saturday. This year will be different, my wife and I will have a new addition this August.

Don't have any games scheduled yet but will start EFL ("semi-pro") in late June - early July. Total games will be 65-75 with about 1/2 of that youth football. We desperately need more officials here in MA, but it seems to be getting harder and harder to recruit (and retain) officials each year.

High school & Pop Warner assignments here don't come in until August - dunno about colleges. I saw 25-30 games last year; probably the same this year, maybe a few more.

We generally get our high school assignments during the end of the regular season, so they are already scheduled. All varsity is already scheduled, probably 80% of JV, 70% of JH. Our college comes out in early July.

9 varsity, 11 sub-varsity

When I worked HS out of the Syracuse Chapter
in CNY--the full schedule (except for play-offs of course)
was available at the start of the season. I would typically
work 12-15 Varsity games and maybe 10 sub-varsity.
Here in SW FL (South Gulf Association) they cling to a
posting of games every two weeks or so. I work a limited
schedule here-- maybe 3 Varsity games and 12 sub-varsity.

I only work HS varsity anymore, a normal 9-11 game schedule plus playoffs. In our area we schedule our crew ourselves and are booked thru 2009 with a couple of games booked in 10 and 11 at this point---crazy isn't it.

We have 12 Varsity games as of right now scheduled. I will probably get my lower level games set by July through our association.

Starting in Mid August, every Monday night, I will receive my assignments for the following Friday/Saturday til the first week of October. And if I kiss enough of the proper booty, I may just get a postseason game.

I get my subvarsity schedule in Febuary and Varsity schedule in April-May. One of the problems here in New Jersey is there are so many different assignors.

Varsity= 14; Junoir Varsity= 8; Freshman= 5...PAL & Pop-warner in August.

I may pick up some more games as the season starts.
