New Fox40 Fingergrip Whistle Watch

Anyone going to use one of these for the upcoming season?

Just came out, I can't find any information on Fox40's website, however there are a few details on the back cover of the May Referee Magazine.

Just what we need a $30 whistle with a timing device that can't be used for anything else. I use my football watch as a standard everyday watch. Waste of money for me.

Got mine today. Will be great for the specific reason I bought it, but not necessarily football.

Gimic Watch

Its a gimic. We all got along without it for a long time. Whats next a whistle that has a down counter as well?

Does the watch detach from the whistle?

I get a new whistle every year, will it also requre to get a new timepiece as well?

I use a lanyard and a wrist watch and have no plans on changing from that, but I'm curious just the same.

I believe they already have that kind of whistle (not Fox though).
