Rocky - Good luck with winning using that offense. I hope you mix it up and pass some off of it. My son's school ran that offense for 4 years and the problem I saw was that if they got behind by a couple of touchdowns they couldn't catch up because they never practiced or passed the ball in games.

No surprises to the other team and the defense put 11 in the box and a good defense will defeat that offense.

Coach resigned this year because of all of the parent pressure to pass more.

There is a thing to remember about the FBZ. There are two types of blocks that are made legal in the FBZ, a block below the waist and a block in the back. However, even in the FBZ, a block below the waist must be on a defender who is on the line of scrimmage at the snap. A linebacker who at the snap is not on the line of scrimmage cannot be legal blocked below the waist even if he later charges across the LOS. He can be blocked in the back.

Interesting...we actually pass about 10-12 times per game. Most are mid-range passes (about 8-15 yards) and once or twice we go deep - but it's all set up by our misdirection and use of our wings. We would love to have them put all 11 in the box, because then all we need to do is have our end down-block for 1 second and then pop out on a little seam pass...sounds like it was more of a coaching issue than the offense itself.
