Does anyone know of any offseason camps that may be out there for HS officials looking to improve and someday move up to NCAA?
Any information would be greatly appreciated! |
Go out to http://www.honigs.com. Also, there's one not listed on Dick Honigs site that is hosted in Reno, NV. The cost of that one is a little pricey but will have quite a few Div I and NFL officials in attendance to help. The price for the Honigs camp is $290 and the one in Reno is upwards of $1,000.
Here's the Reno camp... http://www.renofbofficialscamp.com/ I'm thinking of spending the $$$ for the Reno camp. Has anyone ever attended this, and if so was it worth the money? [Edited by ljudge on Dec 11th, 2005 at 09:42 AM] |
I've never been but have been thinking of trying one or some of them. The Reno one is in the middle of the week and I just started a new job so that would be impossible for me.
I have been out to the "Big 33" in PA. That is always listed on Honigs website..it is always fun and interesting! |
There's a camp in Texas the first weekend in March. As I get more info, I will let you know. Not sure if it is for just TX officials or not.
