This weekend's episode followed Ed Hochuli around the week of Thanksgiving. Its only a 30 minute show so you don't get too much depth but it was interesting.

My bad Six Days to Sunday

Shows follow EH from work at his law firm in Phoenix to his beach home in San Diego. Shows him in the gym lifts 4or 5 days a week and uses stairmaster 6 days.

Shows his convo with officials supervisor about a Roughing the Qb call he made in the Detroit game a couple of weeks back. Also shows the seven evaluators and their control room at the NFL hq.

Shows he and other family members celebrating Thanksgiving with fellow NFL official Mike Carey and family.

Ends with he and crew prepping for that Sunday's game at the hotel on Saturday.

Not a lot of detail since its a 30 min. program but it was interesting.

We discussed the program a little in the thread about Ed Hochuli below. Check towards the end of the thread.

A cool show, it didn't go into great detail, as said it was only 30 minutes long. But it was definitely interesting.

I really wish they would have shown more footage of the Saturday when the crew all met around the table and were looking at the plays on the video. I think we could have gained some great insight. I was surprised by the tremendous amount of paperwork they do every week---tests, game recaps, etc. It was neat to be able to hear parts of the phone conversation when one of the directors of officiating called Ed and they were discussing the roughing the passer call. It also showed what everybody knows---how Ed keeps himself in great physical condition.
