I cannot believe this weekend is the last regular season game of the year. This season always flies by.

I was wondering how many weeks to people have left in their regular season? Our football season is 9 weeks long. Then there are 5 weeks of playoffs.

Peace

I got 3 more games left. First varity game was 8/25 and also had one on 8/26 and then every Friday from then. The last game will be 11/4. So 10 weeks of regular season.

3 Fridays & 1 Thurs left (they moved the games off of Vet's Day). 4 wks after that for the section championships, will probably only get 1 this year due to last years 3.

Anyone know if they're getting any post season assignments this year? Please share. We still have a couple weeks left.

Our last regular season game tonight for us. The two largest classes have one more regular season game on the 27th while the other four classes begin playoffs that same night. Let's see.....that makes only 10 months and 2 weeks until next season.

Regular season in GA ends on 10/28. Then 5 weeks of playoffs ending in championship the first weekend of Dec.

Our season just ended on Wednesday. We have 6 weeks of playoffs with the championships being held the day after Thanksgiving.

The crew I am on has a first and second round game and then a quarterfinal. So we have 3 more games left to go.

I just got our playoff letter yesterday. I was really pumped! We are a good young crew. I have the most experience, 12 years, but the 4 other guys are guys I hand picked for my crew and we are in our 5th season. In Iowa, only 16 teams per class make the playoffs, so less than 25% of crews work a playoff game.

Each school recommends 3 crews to work the playoffs and you need to get enough votes to be in the mix. Then you have the experienced crews in your area to worry about, and we have a lot. We feel very fortunate, and are very excited about getting our 1st playoff game with such a young crew. It just shows how hard my guys work to become good. I am truly blessed to have guys work so hard with me to become quality crew so quickly. We now will work even harder to try to get to the "dome" in the next several years. We have 2 regular season games left.

Thanks to all of you for you help in me growing as an official throughout the year! I truely love working the boards.

2 weeks left in the regular season, then a total of (4) weeks in most all classes for playoffs after that. We should find out week after next about assignments, at this point we are hoping to get one and go from there.

Forksref Fri Oct 21, 2005 08:40pm

Last regular season game was Wednesday. Some playoffs start tomorrow. Waiting for the call. We have 8 regular season games, 4 weeks of playoffs.
