Sounds good to me, he should have been ejected but according to Pereria the Linesmen could not see if it was a fist or a helmet that knocked over Butch, the officials had a discussion but were not going to eject him since they weren't sure.

The one that gets me is the other player mentioned in the article, who intentionally delivered a forearm to the ribs of an official. In my book, that's not only a bigger fine, that's at least a two-game suspension. But of course, I'm not in charge of the NFL. |
