on the two point conversion, running back from team A fumbles at the 1 yard line into the endzone. a different player from team A falls on the ball in the endzone. is the try good or blow it dead?

NF, 2 pt try is good.

NCAA, try is no good.

Blow it dead under any ruleset - someone is in possession and down.

As previously mentioned, score 2 pts. under NF rules; no score under NCAA rules (forward fumbles can only be recovered for the offense by the fumbling player on tries and 4th downs).

Doesn't matter if it is a "forward fumble" or any other kind of fumble, only fumbling offensive player (and any defensive player) can recover and advance on try downs and 4th down.

are you asking a question or what are you saying?

I am pointing out that any fumble (regardless of whether it goes forward or backwards) by the offense during an extra point try or on 4th down can only be recovered and advanced by the offense (NCAA)

He's making a statment about fumbles on 4'th down under NCAA rules.
