Pregame For O/T Procedure

Regular Football Rules Prevail
Three minute Intermission
Down Box Only
The line to gain is always the goal line.


Any penalties following the last play of the game will be measured from the succeeding spot
The 10 yardline - First and goal from the 25 or 5 yardline
One additional Time-out is added to unused Time-outs from the second-half

Crew Meets to discuss overtime procedure
Visiting team calls the coin toss - Official place hand on the winning team
Defense, Offense or Which End of the field It’s used for both series
Offense faces the direction of play - Official give First down signal

If tied after Overtime - Repeat overtime procedure - Two minute Intermission No additional Coin Toss - Loser of the coin toss gets choice which will alternate for additional overtimes - One additional time-out added to unused

Four Downs from the 10 yardline - Anywhere between the Hash Marks

Exception: If the Defense gains possession, Ball is dead Immediately - Series Over


A Foul following a touchdown and before the Try the Succeeding spot is the Three yardline. - 18 or 1½ yardline

Defensive Pass Interference - New Series

Roughing the kicker, kicker-holder, snapper or passer - New Series

Offensive pass Interference - Loss of down and yardage

Field Goal recovered by the offense... in the field-of-play... after being touched by R beyond the neutral zone - New series

Defense can score a Safety or Touchdown

PSK enforcement is not applicable

Each overtime both teams are awarded 1-TO plus any unused 2nd half TO's. Therefore if a team has all 3 second half TO then the team would have 4 TO during the 1st OT. If the team does not use any TO and a 2nd OT occurs the team still has 4 TO, not 5. Unused OT TO do not accumulate.
