The first overturned the TD call.
The second confirmed the TD call. So far, no matter how it's sliced, I like IR. |
Second IR was a good confirmation but I didn't believe the first IR to be "conclusive". Call was touchdown and it looked to me R had ball possession coming down behind the EZ plane, and both feet had touched the ground within the EZ a split-second before B puncghed the ball out. Close call, yes. Call could have gone either way without an argument from me but the IR, in my mind, didn't show enough to conclusively say this was a "wrong" call.
I like IR too in college. Heck, they're playing for millions of dollars anymore, so why not??? WM |
