Personally, I liked the no call on the OOB 'hit'.
REPLY: If you're talking about the same one I mentioned above, I agree. Even Philadelphia didn't complain.

2. Why wouldn't he ask the best referee in the NFL a question?
Why would the best referee in the NFL answer?
Because he was asked a question.

Nothing better for me than to have my 3 kids (7,5, and 3) come running up to me at half all looking for hugs, as I walk off to get some H2O and discuss the 1st half with the crew. Some might say that its not professional, but I think it calms the fans a little to remind them we are human too.
If my 3, 5 and 7 year-olds want to give me a hug at half-time, they get a hug. They'll remember this for a long time. "Daddy goes to ref football, but still has time to hug me."

I did the provincial final in 2003 and when I started to run back to the ref's room at half-time, I looked into the crowd and saw my parents. They originally said that they weren't sure if they could make it. I was so proud that day.

Because he was asked a question.
I don't think he should have answered it personally.

How do you know the question was anything but, "So, Ed, how are the kids?"?
