I am the umpire on a high school 5 man crew. We are going to start having monthly crew meetings starting in February. The crew chief has requested that I do the educating for the first meeting. I have a few ideas as to items to address, but I was wondering what the R's and U's on this board would offer as suggestions as to rules to address.

I would go over penalty enforcements, including several scenarios to work out, ie multiple fouls, fouls after change in possession, live ball and dead ball fouls, what's walked off, what down is it, where do you set the chains, etc. I think all crewmembers should know the enforcements. Also you can go over the mechanics of a penalty enforcement, so all five crewmembers have something do do. There's plenty do know and do on penalty enforcements!
