We've talked over patches on knickers. What about hats? I just heard last night that our hat patches will be optional next year and will go away all together for 2006.

Walt, aren't you from New Jersey? I'm in the South Jersey Camden Chapter. Patches were made optional for our chapter last year and this year. The only "rule" was that all crew members needed to do the same thing. And...if you were an "out of crew" member you need to do what the crew does. We were told a few weeks ago that our chapter won't be using them at all next year.

North Jersey here. They were required this year.

REPLY: I hope we can get rid of them. They're pretty ugly on hats.

The patches that the MHSAA make us wear on our shirts are ugly enough. I wouldn't want one on my hat. I hope you didn't have to change them every year like we do.

REPLY: Don't knock the guy. He still wears leisure suits to our meetings!

Let's sell advertising space on our uniforms and earn some cash.

It's rumored that the character in the computer game "Leisure Suit Larry" was modeled after him.
