Alright, I've been doing this a long time, probably longer than most of you. But on Thanksgiving, we had a first. Because of a family commitment, our BJ couldn't work with us. So we had a young lady from the chapter replace him. No...that's not the 'first.' She's worked with us before and for a first year varsity official, she's pretty good. Here's the 'first'... as we're walking of the field, an assistant coach from the losing team asks her out!! After picking her jaw up off her shoetops, she tells him, "I don't think so."

So how many of you have ever been hit on after a game??

I have. Youth league game, coach commented how good I look in stripes! :D

Maybe that's why they lost.

I'm a youngin'... only 20. Had a cheerleader run up one time and tell me I was cute.

It was tough, but all I could tell myself was "turn and walk away. 16 will get you 20."

I don't know if I was being hit on, but two years ago I was working Umpire in the inaugural National Championship Game for the IWFL (Independent Womens Football League). I was standing over the ball facing the defensive line having a little chat with the ladies between the down. The offensive snapper left her huddle early, came up behind me, grabbed my love handles and gave them a little tickle. Big laughs all around .

You weren't being hit on - she was just buying the next call. :D

I'm the Back Umpire in a provincial quarter-final about a month ago.

I overheard the girl on the downsbox asking what my name was, "he's cute", "nice bum", yada yada, etc....

Like ya said GA, 16 will get ya 20.
