Well, you could always wear stuff under the socks if you wanted to.

I'm not a big fan of wearing 3 pairs of socks. I'll wear a pair of socks and the stirrups but not more than 1 pair of socks. Also I'm not supposed to wear the one piece, so if I were to get caught wearing it, I could get in a bit of trouble.

Other differences I noticed, white(pink too?) shoe laces. And also number placquets on back are white background black numbering. Interesting.

PINK!!!! I can vouch for everyone in my association when I say that no one has pink shoelaces. If you show up with any non-white shoe laces you get fined $10. This goes to our AGM fund. (beer pizza and wings aren't free ;)) In my association I haven't seen pink shoelaces.

Also the number things. I like the white on back better than the black on white. But there's nothing I can do about it. I guess it's just one of those things that may change with time. Like hopefully we'll go to the all white referee's hat. That's the first uniform change I'm hoping for.

The pink laces are in the shoes that a member wears in the shoes she wears to the game.

She's 16 and just does the sticks for us. She's awesome though - very very friendly and is good at her job. If she's in a picture with pink laces, it's becuase she already took her football ref shoes off before starting to change and the crew had to go back out to the field to get the picture after the game was done. Sure, she could have put her ref shoes back on, but didn't. Oh well. A million Chinese won't care tomorrow.

Oh, the memories of this quote. When I was an assistant BB coach here, the head coach would end his postgame after a tough loss, or a great win by saying "remember, there's a millions Chinamen who don't care." Thanks for the laugh!
