In our game last night, the ready for play at 24 seconds with the clock running in the first quarter. False start by A, clock is stopped with 1.6 seconds. Penalty is walked off, referee starts the clock and it runs out of time.

End of Quarter or untimed down?

End of quarter. The foul did not occur DURING the down.

As Canadian rules do not require the ball to be snapped before the clock reads zeros, there will be one more play.
