The NFL maintains a (central location with staff) to monitor all the NFL games on game day. Announcer's booth have direct access to the staff, being able to ask questions on the rules. Being that the NFL staff is able to view the same play the announcers are concerned about, they can answer their questions concerning the rules or whatever else comes up.

One of our former members, now in the WAC, was a guest at our banquet. His crew chief is a replay official for the NFL. Unlike in previous years, the replay official is now assigned to a crew. His NFL crew chief is Bill Leavey (R#127) also a former of our group. To date, their crew is 16 for16 for coaches challenging calls.

Is Bill Leavey new? Did he replace Bill Leavy?

JugglingReferee,

No, same person, my spelling is wrong. Bill was a BJ for six years before becoming a crew chief.
