Yes. OT rules actually follow the shootout rule. No longer are there timed quarters.

Each team gets a shot from the 35.

Nothing better than settling down with a nice cold beer and some donuts.

And they had their own Super Bowl-like controversy too.

During the half-time show, while Anne Murray was singing Snowbird and the penguins were dancing around her, one of the penguins lifted up the side of her toque. Exposed her nekkid right ear!! Right on Canadian national television during prime time!!

Oh, the humanity, the humanity..........

Rest assured, the Mounties are on the case, even as we speak. In a press release today, Inspector Do-Right of the RCMP said that an arrest is imminent. He stated that they would have already made one, but "all of those penguins look alike anyway". Film at 11.

can one of you canucks tell me how far hamilton is from niagara falls i go donate some money to the local economy in niagara falls from time to time and figured why not catch a candian game while im at it

Hamilton, my hometown, is less than an hour away from Niagara falls. It's actually a really fun experience watching a ti-cat game. People getting beer dumped on them and not trying to knock the guy out. Fun times.

I'm not a canuck but it's about 30-45 mins. Look for the flaming skyline.

Oh yeah, if you do show up just a few things,

Yes, the air always does look like that :)

Yes, the air always smells like that :)

Yes the water always tastes like that :)

That's why we drink so much beer, it's healthier :D

Hamilton is a great place to be this weekend!

The Vanier Cup is this weekend at Ivor Wynne Stadium. The Vanier Cup is awarded to the winner of the National Championship game of the CIS (NCAA equivalent).

In addition, the provincial finals are on Friday and Sunday. They're called the OFSAA Bowls.

I went to the GC this year. What a fantastic time! You're right - many people in the US wish there were more CFL games on TV. The GC would be a great addition to any lineup. Too bad you guys don't get ESPN Classic Canada. Watching GC games with 2 inches of snow on the ground. Classic.

As soon as I get accepted into university I'm out of here :)

You'd be surprised. The Ti-Cats had quite a few sellouts this year. If you plan to go get tickets in advance.

Mike, you said you're going to the Vanier, do you know where you're sitting yet?? I was thinking maybe we could get a chance to meet during halftime, before or after the game.

I intend on participating in any and all post-game festivities. I do not yet know where I'm sitting.

I'll reply shortly when I know more info.

But yes, we do have to say Hello. You can buy me a beer. HAHAHAHAHAHA :D

I very sorry for those who watched the Vanier, I tried but fell asleep. The Grey Cup was great, missed much of the game though had a qt sitting a couple of rows down from me who showed up in a cut-off Argos top, and started drinking. The more she drank the less top she had.

Anyhow back to the Yates play. I am thinking that was the Int. with the Holding pen. in the endzone. I figured the muffed that one from the start, as I thought there can't be a point awarded on the interception. To me the call was easy. Ball downed in the endzone on an interception goes out to the 20. Tack on the -10 for the holding, means 1st and 10 from the 10.

You are so right, I spent most of the 3rd and 4th quarters trying to keep my eyes open, now it could be because the game was boring or it might've been an after effect of the Vanier Cup Shindig our officials association held the night before :)
