11 Varsity: 8 regular season and assigned 3 state playoffs

Does anyone get burnt out by mid-season or the end of the season? What do you do to maintain focus if you do.

Ah, I remember the days when the legs would allow me to do that many games a season.
Start taking the joint juice or pills now guys. All that cartilidge you're wearing out needs to be replaced.
You don't want to wind up having x-rays that make the technician ask if you've been running marathons all your life.

I did 95 games total this year
5 of them were scrimmages
2 were working on the chain crew (one school in the area pays official to run the chains at their home games.)

I had 9 varsity games (regular season). The rest were JV and below (79 games).

Now if you want to add on the 26 basketball games so far this year and the 176 baseball games as well on top of my real job, then maybe we can discuss what is too much.

About 50 games this past fall, plus a couple scrimmages. This included 9 varsity and about 20 youth games. The rest were sub-varsity (combination of freshman, reserve, and JV).

83 paid on-the-field assignments: 48 youth, 26 freshmen/JV, 9 varsity.

Plus one varsity rainout/tornado, one clock operator, one down-and-distance operator (playoff), and one chain crew (playoff).

Plus 11 unpaid pre-season scrimmages, most of which were double-headers.

Did 93 games last year...am slowing down. Am also taking glucosamine-chondroitin-MSM for the knees.

Greatest pleasure was that 19 of the youth games were worked with my two sons, as a three-man crew. Fathers, get your son's into officiating!

WOW!!!! That will make the legs ache. I thought I was getting a lot of work doing some of the make up games after all of the hurricanes. You got to be in good shape to do 95. I will see how I do after some off season surgury.

13 V Games
8 JV
32 Minor Football Games
2 Scrimmages
29 Games as a minor official, (timer, downsbox, yardsticks)

This is probably the busiest season I'll ever have (I was the on call guy, if someone dropped out last second, I was always available to take the game).

I don't think I'll have this kind of time next year.
