K is punting when the punt is blocked and K1 CATCHES THE BLOCKED PUNT BEHIND LINE OF SCRIMMAGE STARTS TO RUN, BUT REALIZES NOT ABLE TO GET A FIRST DOWN... IS HE ALLOWED TO KICK THE PUNT AGAIN?

Hi there...

Just make sure both kicks are legal... I have seen a kicker get his first attempt blocked and then he kicks it again while the ball is rolling on the ground to prevent the defense from recovering it.
