Hey J,

I've heard that the OV finals have been moved to Waterloo, from Ivor Wynne.

Yes the OV finals are in Waterloo now. The clock in Hamilton was going to take eight people at $50 / hour to run it. And that does not even include the TIMER!

So without a decent game clock, they decided to move it back to Waterloo.

Yeah, I got the e-mail two days ago, I'm probably going to go to Lakeshore's level 2 clinic instead.

Oh ya, and if you guys have ever seen that clock, it's worth every penny of it.

Apparently not $2400++ for the OV finals. I don't blame them either.

We have a guy in our area who can work the game clock, the 20s clock, the scoring, the Yards to Go, the Down, and what yard line the ball is on AND still find time to identify the tackler, ball carrier and distance gained on runs and kick returns.

Surely you don't need 8 guys to run a silly scoreboard, not including the timer.
