Fellow adorners of the pristine polyester significantly stipped in black and white:

Anyone on this board ever work the "Down Under Bowl?" It is a series of games played by various kids from the states down in Australia. It is put on by International Sports Specialists Inc.

I just returned from working it and want to know if any of you have or know someone that has worked it. Plus, if you are going to work it, let me know.

I would like to compare notes on how your games went, things that you did in your spare time, etc. Also, anyone here from Indiana?

Thanks!
UE

PS: if you want information on this, just let me know, I can put you in touch with some folks.

I don't have any answers but I will add a question, did you get to go to Austrailia? Or are the games held in the US?

Posters please be aware! Ignore Jim S's posts!
This gentlemen has issues! This is supported by the fact that he is a fan of the Montlake Muts (aka - washington huskies). Ever since the power in the PAC-10 has swung to the east side of the state of Washington (<b>Washington State Cougars</b>) these types of posters have been at unrest. Given time (<u>and further NCAA sanctions for probation violations</u>) they should settle back down!

Just poking a little fun at my Vancouver brother. By the way Jim, you must love the fact that <b>Washington State University - Vancouver</b> was built in your own back yard!

No, AB, that was the e-mail address of the former<B> ALABAMA</B> coach.
He is also the answer to a trivia question:
Can you name the only former ALABAMA Head Football Coach to leave the school with an undefeated record?

ABoselli Fri Jul 16, 2004 02:18pm

I guess O'Leary was undefeated (untied and un-scored upon) at ND as well.

I think O'Leary and Price were both winless and undefeated. Although, the winless part for Price is questionable (unless you're his wife!).

So tell us about your experiences in Australia.

Vancouver as in Vancouver, Washington? That's where my wife grew up and my in laws reside. Small world!

Well, obviously, it was a once in a lifetime experience. However, we worked a TON of football. Something like 11 games in 8 days. We were there for about 14 days and had like 3 days off.

Everyone there was really nice, the players and coaches were great. The local Aussie team was fantastic and very cordial.

So, even though we didn't get to see a lot of Australia, the experience was super and it was great to meet people from all over the US.

Oh...and the football wasn't bad either!
