I need to find a flag football referee test. Does such a test exist and where can I find it?
|
I recently was searching for "offical" flag football rules and officiating information. What I discovered is just about every league plays by a slightly different set of rules (and I think some TEAMS even play by their own rules).
The best resource I found was NIRSA - The National Intramural-Recreational Sports Association. They have rule books, mechanics mauals, officiating videos and a basic test available at: http://nirsa.humankinetics.com/produ...0spOffic#0foot Other resources include the American Flag and Touch Football League at: http://www.aftfl.com/ And the United States Flag and Touch Football League at: http://www.usftl.com/ -Sean--- |

Thanks for the heads up on the flag football sites but I am familiar with them. I've been in the game for 20+ years and you're so right about teams playing by their own rules. Other than purchasing a "starter kit" from NIRSA, with an entry level exam, I still can't find a test. You'd think flag football and officiating organizations would want better educated officials.

Flag Football Referee Test
Your recommended site provides a good start in creating a test. I was hoping someone had already done that but it doesn't look like it. Oh well, an official's job is never easy. Thanks again for the help and "keep callin'em as you see'em!"
