I am located in the Central Coast Section (CCS) of the California Interscholastic Federation (CIF). Lately, some of our football officials have wondered about the merits of a mentoring system. Is there any one who can give some reference(s)or reccommend someone to talk to regarding mentoring?
Conversly, is there anyone who has tried mentoring and can discuss some of the things to be aware of that are detrimental to mentoring.
Thanks for your help.

Here in Michigan we have is called the Legacy Program. High school seniors are paired with veteran officials to work middle school games. The MHSAA has more info on their website at http://www.mhsaa.com
