Under the rules of high school football, does the clock stop on a 1st down in the last 2 minutes? If so, does it restart prior to the next snap?

In HS football as it is played in Texas and Mass., clock on 1st downs inside of 2 minutes is same as during rest of game. It stops until the down box gets set at the new spot of ball and then it is started, assuming it was not stopped for something like a run out of bounds, an incomplete pass, etc.

NFHS, how much time on the clock doesn't matter. The clock stops for every first down until the chains are set. Once the chains are set it depends what happend the previous play ie out of bounds, then it doesn't start.
