I agree, it's not a good precedent.
And while I hate to say this, I have to agree with the commentators. :cringe!: Holmgren was forced to use one of his challenges on a play that there was absolutely no question on.
I guess it makes up for all the times coaches throw the red when it's just as obvious the call was correct.
EDIT: After watching the replay at the link Steve provided, I think it's possible that Kukar may have been momentarily blocked from see the pass. There were two blockers and two defenders to the QB's right. But, as an R, don't you have to make sure that you don't get straightlined? After all, the QB is your responsibility.
