You know, doctors say that some kinds of sports like football are dangerous for health. I mean not only bones and muscles injuries but also brain impairment. My brother has been playing football since his childhood and recently he's been selected for one of the main national teams in our country. I know that he is to choose, not me. But I just wonder if it's not too bad. What are professional football players like in real life? Are they able to think of anything but football, to have a strong family?

I'm not one, so....
I don't know.
Perhaps you should look at the NFL.com page (if American football is what you are speaking of). A lot of pro football players have their own web page, which may give you a little more insight. Try a Google search for those. |

Football players have gone on to be doctors, dentists, Rhodes Scholars, Supreme Court Justice, even United States Congressmen, Presidents, etc.
People have become crippled and/or brain-damaged from automobile collisions, falling in the bathtub, having a tree limb fall on them, tripping and hitting their heads, etc. So, take your choice. Bob |
