The NFHS Football Officials Manual has procedures for both three-man and four-man mechanics, as well as their general instructions and five-man mechanics. It is published every other year (a new one came out this year). If your association does not provide it to you, it can be ordered from the NFHS for $5 plus s&h. Contact them at http://www.nfhs.org.

Get your 3-man NFHS mechanics online at the NFHS site
http://www.nfhs.org./PDF/Football/ThreeOfficials.pdf

They are no longer part of the Officials Manual as of this year.

They are no longer part of the Officials Manual as of this year.

Not only that, but they've gone up to $6.00 each.

That's what I get for referring to last year's book, even having mentioned the new one. I'd better look at it! Any new rules this year? (Just kidding!);-)

It's in .pdf format. Make sure you have the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader on your computer. Acrobat Reader is free and can be downloaded from a number of places. Go to the main source at http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readermain.html
