Our collegiate conference contract is up at the end of this season and we are going to renegotiate with the conference. What I am asking from you guys out there is what conference you work for and what kind of compensation do you receive?

Example:
Our crew works for the Great Plains Conference (NAIA)
Pay: each member gets $90 per man (6 man crew)
Mileage: 2 vehicles get paid $0.36 per mile round trip
Extras: We get box lunches from most of the schools and towels for the shower afterward the game.

We want to bump up our pay, however, need to prove what the other NCAA Div. 2, 3, JUCO and other NAIA conferences are paying. If you don’t work for a conference but know how they are paying I would like to hear from you too.

Thanks

I was told by one of our guys that works occasionally at JUCO level that they get a portion of the gate with a minimum of $120 (6-man) - he says the average is $130-140 but he got $250 for a game once. Your mileage sounds about right.

In my juco experience, it was $125 plus $40 mileage. NY state. Lunch at halftime - no towels.

KJCCC (Kansas Jayhawk Juco) pays $150 no mileage for 6-man crew. I believe that is what our NAIA and D-II conference's pay also, or close.
