Illegal Substitution
Defense Player was attempting to get off the field Friday night (12 guys on field). Ball was snapped and flag thrown. Runner gained about 15 yards. At the end of the play, they added on 5 yards for illegal Substitution? Is this correct or should it go back to the LOS and add on the 5 yards replay the down if the offense accepts the foul??

It would have to go back to the previous spot if they accept the penalty. If the offense wants to keep the gain, they have to decline the penalty.
