on a kick off,
all the players are in a good formation before the ball is kicked and when it is kicked, a K player very fast go in the R zone and catch the ball in the air before nobody touch it(of course beyound the restraining zone of R). What happens ? |

I'm assuming by "R zone" he means the end zone. If he just means the 10-yard thing, then it must hit the ground OR R can't be in position to catch it in the air.

Another NCAA difference
Most of the comments so far seem geared to NF. This play is legal in NCAA. The ball must be beyond B's restraining line (10 yards from line of kick) and need not have touched the ground for A to catch.

so on a kick off in NCAA after the 10 yards K can catch the ball without touching the ground or a R player.. OK What about the NFL (just curious) because i saw on a one side kick after the restraining line K jump and catch the ball high before R touchs it (or the ground), it seems to be legal. In fact I thought the ball had to touch the ground or a player R and pass the restraining line : i was wrong so. Thank you
