Batting in end zone by defense

On a try for point for high school football( 2point convrsion) a fumbles the ball, b-(defense) adds a new force to the ball and ends up in the end zone.
If "a" recovers-2 points--if "defense" recovers-this is a 1 point safety and it goes to "a"--defense cannot runout of end zone-still a 1 point safety to team "a".

The question came up if "defense" while the ball is loose in the end zone "batts" the ball out of the end zone--is it a 1 point still for "a".

My thoughts it's still a 1 point safety becuase of the ball being forced into the endzone by the "defense", and the batting is illegal.

Defensive fouls are always enforced from the basic spot. Basic spot is the end of the run. Half the distance and re-try if the penalty is accepted.
