Hip Replacement

Hello all! I am a new member here. I've been a basketball official for 12+ years. I've also been doing football for about 6 years. I recently had hip replacement surgery (Jan 10 of this year). Just wondering if anyone else has had the same experience and....1) If you returned to the court/field...how long after surgery? And 2) How did you feel physically while officiating post surgery??

Thanks, Ned Graham

Had right hip replaced in 2000, left hip done around 2003-4. Both surgeries done during Jan.-Feb. was ready to go when football started. If you're a golfer, you might see 25 yards added to your drives, can't promise they'll be any straighter.

You won't regret having it done, good luck.
