Out of curiosity, does anyone know how the NFL's officiating evaluation system is setup? Certainly it has to be better than the crappy local systems we have in place. But I'm curious if it is a mix of coaches, other officials, crew assessments, and/or just straight up evaluaters.

They have a group of supervisors who report to a VP of Officiating. The supervisors constantly review their work weekly and issue grades on calls/no-calls. Go pick up Mike Pereria's book if you want to know more. Not the most well written or constructed book I've ever read but he does go over the system pretty well.
