Multiple Fouls, One being a live ball personal foul

Had multiple fouls on A. One being holding, the other being a live ball illegal contact on a defenseless player personal foul.

Being that both of these penalties are live ball, would B have the choice as with multiple fouls? Or would the penalty for holding be assessed and then the personal foul tacked on.

Live ball exceptions are there for Unsportsmanlike and Non-player fouls as they are treated as deadball penalties, but I don't believe a personal foul is administered in this way.

Any help?

B chooses one.

B gets their choice. Odds are the holding creates the worst distance penalty for A, depending on where the illegal contact occurred.

Interested to hear how A got a defenseless player hit. Block away from the ball?

PF could have been assessed if it were dead ball.

Hit away from the ball. Live ball personal fouls are no different than any other live ball foul. All but one principal included, correct?

Say there was only one penaly and it was a live ball personal foul. Foul behind the end of the run is administered from penalty spot, penalty in front of run would be administered from end of run.

I tend to clump personal fouls with unsportsmanlike penalties in my head, but unsportsmanlike live ball fouls are trested as if they were dead ball fouls.

And that's your problem.

Keep in mind Unsportsmanlike Fouls relate to "conduct" (behavior), which is why the Rule Sections (NFHS 9-5 and 9-8) they're explained under are called "NONCONTACT Unsportsmanlike CONDUCT" by Players (or Non-players), whereas Personal Fouls are explained under (NFHS 9-4) "Illegal Personal CONTACT".
