All 11 players coming to the sideline

All 11 players go to the sideline to get the play but do not leave the field and do not get a delay of game penalty. The trainer throws a player a water bottle during that time. Legal or Flag (NFHS)

That act may get a little old by the middle of the first quarter, though, if I'm a big ol' OL.

REPLY: True, this is legal provided the players don't leave the field, and neither the coach nor any attendants come out of their respective coach/team boxes. However, with the time it takes to do this, you need to be careful that the R isn't enabling this behavior by delaying the ready too long.
