First time leaving a game

I've been officiating for well over 30 years. Last night with 4 minutes to go, I popped my calf and had to leave the game. First time ever in all of my four sports that I didn't finish the game. After a trip to the doctor, it appears I am on the shelf for at least two weeks.

Bummer :(

Sorry dude. Get well.

Came out of my first game ever in Week 2 at halftime of the 2nd game of a 3 game youth set. Felt my left knee cave in when I felt myself stepping on a LB's foot and tried to move away. I had rotated in to U that game.

Good luck healing. I was fortunate to go through 40 football seasons without losing a game to injury. Some guys had career ending injuries. I was lucky to end my career by choice.
