With PHP experience, I can tell you that this would be very difficult to implement. The problem is that I can change who the quote came from very easily, making the system beatable.

It would be programmable, but very difficult.

Many use that to quote on several posters at once. How do you deal with checking that?

I'm not asking to question your experience, but to see how you think it's possible. With my experience, I don't see how it could be implemented without some loopholes around it.
