bossman72 Straight MLB Rules - A batter comes to bat with a Bamboo bat or composite bat. Would you consider this a Rule 1 violation and just remove the bat or a Rule 6 violation and call him out and eject him?
Manny A Rule 6.06(d) only applies to bats that have been tampered with or altered, not noncompliant bats that otherwise meet manufacturer's specs.
