Johnny Ringo Can anyone post video of the final play? Just curious on how many might have a foul on this play and how many were good with a no call.
LeeBallanfant blindzebra wroteBased on the way the entire game was called it was a foul. Based on the way the entire game was called it was certainly not a travel.
JugglingReferee Can someone still post the play, if it's not too much trouble? ESPN cannot be accessed outside of the US.

Johnny Ringo If I can figure out how to do it ... I will try. Hoping the ones who normally do, can do this.
Rich Also, I hear McCaffrey got whacked after a non-call on a travel. Can someone post that sequence? And please don't tell me I can browse to the play.

Watched it live and had the same thought. Was going to make a similar thread when I saw this one. My opinion is that this was a clear foul. The defender caused the contact on the airborne offensive player and it displaced him causing him to move away from the basket.

bainsey I think it comes down to angles, as usual. From the sideline camera, I'm good with a legal ruling. From the endline camera, I see #11 green come into the shooter and commit a blocking foul.

For our video gurus, this sequence will be found starting at the 17:57 mark of the 2nd half. Definitely a travel. Definitely a coach out of his box reacting to a play.

JRutledge I am not convinced the first one is a foul and can see why it was not called. The second play the issue is when did the gather take place. I think a case can easily be made that the gather did not start until in the air and the left foot had already been off the floor. Peace

I took the time to slow down the second one and it's not as straight-forward as I thought when I watched it once this morning. I still think it's a travel, though.
