JMUplayer Game Winning FG attempt by Florida State 47 yards out and there is a flag on the defense for simulating a snap count. I know a flag is a flag but in that spot it better be extremely blatent.
HLin NC Given that was an ACC crew and I've only made it as far as the 3rd round of the state playoffs, I'll defer to their judgment. If Doug Rhodes doesn't like, that crew will have a new official on it next year.

I think what the OP was saying was that you better be sure that the defense was the one calling out signals and it was meant to disrupt the offense (sorry if I put the wrong words it he mouth). It is a gusty call to make given the cirumstance, but one that has to be made if it was there.
bkdow I know for me the one time that I did call it, I had warned the player twice previously. Granted it was in a JV game, but I would think it was either really blatant or the player had been previously warned.
