HLin NC wroteSome day, in the not so distant future, Honig's will sell shirts with holographic lettering. You will be able to change your position instantly with the press of a button.
They will sell for $399 and all college officials will have to buy one.
You're right about the not-so-distant future, but wrong about the nature of the shirt. There's a research facility here that developed the first marketable LCD's back in the 60's, and their latest thing is zero-power displays on fabric. They could make a shirt that could switch from NFHS stripes to NCAA stripes to NFL stripes, have a variable position placard on the back, and display a flag and a state patch as well.
Not commercially viable above $100. 😉
