MN 3 Sport Ref This kid is one hel of a basketball player. I question whether he gives a s*** about his HS team knowing he will be making millions soon. He had to have known and been instructed I hope, not to except anything after just going through the fiasco w/ his HumVee. Stupid decision (or not caring on his part) jeapordizes his teams chance at a championship. I guess he probably has turned into nothing more than another selfish millionarre athelete that we all hoped wouldn't happen but knew would...
rockyroad I like his comment about his grade point average..."Just remember, I have a 3.5 gpa"...for crying out loud, I pulled a 3.9 and it was all in the midst of a deep haze... like that matters in light of what he's just done to his teammates...jerk...
rainmaker My thought when I read the article in the Oregonian was, "Two jerseys worth $845? This guy isn't too bright!!" At least if he was going to sell his soul, he shoulda got more than two jerseys, no matter how snazzy!!
hawkk Originally posted by mick Athletes don't know these rules. I put it all on his advisors for not warning him. After the Hummer flap, if his coach has any brains, his coach made sure he knew the rules . . .
