bainsey I mentioned before that, last week, I drove 40 miles to a game, only to find it had been postponed. We weren't notified. It was moved to tomorrow night, and I got the assignment again, with the same partner. It just got postponed again.

Rich mj wroteOr if you're anal like me, you do both... My wife is like this. To me, if I get 90% of it, I'm happy. This morning will be a mess. I'm about to try to move the mountain of snow we have out front. Wednesday's an off day for HS sports in this area. Good thing.
26 Year Gap I was already off for tonight and tomorrow. Have a game Friday and one Tuesday and then the season is done. ðŸ˜

tref They get it in early out your way huh? 3 weeks left here... Good luck Tuesday & I hope you get the "next round" call!!
26 Year Gap tref wroteThey get it in early out your way huh? 3 weeks left here... Good luck Tuesday & I hope you get the "next round" call!! Not eligible beyond district level. I need to do a field clinic here in FL. First game was Nov 9th here. Softball/baseball already under way.
26 Year Gap tref wroteGotcha, have fun with THAT! 😃 Had the same crew last Friday and it went great. Nice thing is the district tournament is hosted by the school that is 4 miles away. Pay is slightly higher at $68 including the travel fee.
JRutledge Obviously my game last night was canceled and moved to tomorrow. We will see if that goes over as the game is scheduled for 5:30 instead of the 7:00 or 7:30 usual start time. Peace
stiffler3492 Jeff we're supposed to get more snow, I think...except this time it'll be two inches instead of two feet
bainsey bob jenkins wroteSome schools will go to great lengths to avoid having you as the official. 😉 That's what I told my partner. All three games of mine that were postponed were with the same guy. I think they fear our tandem.
26 Year Gap wfd21 wroteYea 26 Year Gap, It's also 80* down there today!! After 50+ Northern New England winters, I am entitled to enjoy it, too.😃
Welpe JFlores wroteMy games just got canceled because of bad weather. Mind you I live in Houston and we are getting an arctic blast, temps are suppose to drop into the 20's. I originally from NYC, like a co-worker of mine just said, are they playing basketball outside? Unbelievable. Which school district? I have games tomorrow, Friday and Saturday and haven't heard a peep about cancellations. It wouldn't surprise me if Friday got canceled considering it is supposed to snow that day. 😮
BillyMac 26 Year Gap wroteSoftball/baseball already under way. wfd21 wroteIt's also 80* down there today!! Will both of you please shut up. Here's a photo of my backyard. Don't know where these odd birds came from. Never seen them before. Usually we just see chickadees, blue jays, and cardinals.
