I am working a game in the City-Suburban (McDonald's I believe) Shootout at the University of Illinois-Chicago Campus at 4:30. I have the first of 3 games. I am not sure how national these games will be shown, but if you have Direct TV or some feed through Comcast stations you might be able to see it. I know many of those in Illinois can see it and probably other parts of the Midwest.

Just thought you guys should know.

Hope we can catch it on cable /comcast maybe. Great job in what I assume to be a VERY competitive area to officiate in . Congratulations ! 🙂

Well, I know one thing for certain, Padgett would be proud of the shoes he wore. How do I know? Because I could see the logos from the other side of the arena! JRut, I assume you need a refill on your black magic marker? 😕 😛

And, to top it off, he didn't offer to share any of his pizza! Geeze!

Oh, and btw, I could tell great officiating from the other side of the arena too. 🙂 Good job.

How did everything go?

Everything went well. I work both leagues normally and I have had both teams in the past. So there was not a lot of "where did this guy come from" type conversation. It was the most competitive game of the night and it was fun despite we have some confusion with the TV timeouts as the table was also confused. Other than that both partners were great and one of the veterans gave me a great complement afterward. Overall that was a great night. 😉
