How many "T's" this year?

Terrapins Fan

2 years ago, I had 20 "T's" for the year. last year 7.

This year 2 so far. Both for bad behavior by players.

1 in church league and 1 in a J.V. game.

My goal was zero, but I am still better than in the past. 1/2 of the season is over.

IREFU2

None.

Raymond

Don't know the total count but I have had 3 for taunting behavior. Didn't have to call any last season for taunting.

Rich

3. Two players and one varsity boys head coach. Was on the floor for 2 more (called by partners) -- one on a chin-up on a dunk and one on a boys varsity head coach.

More than I saw all last year. Still no big deal. When they happen, they happen.

1 - taunting.

Should have called 2 more - 1 on a coach that my P had T'd up earlier, 1 on a player

I think I have seven so far for the year. One ejection.

I don't understand when people set a "goal" for how many T's they want to call. That's like setting a goal for how many travels you want to call during the year.

Me either. They happen when they happen. Afterwards, I do try to figure out if I could've handled the situation better. Many times I wish I would've found the technical in my bag o'fouls earlier.

JRutledge

Three Coaches (Two Stop signs 😃).

I think about 5 players.

This is about the highest number at this time of the year I can remember. And I hardly count the players, because a couple of these were no-brainers as one player ran onto the court during play. And I gave a double T on Saturday that was on a TV game that was obvious as well.

3 so far - all on players with bad attitudes and a mouth to match.

Came close with a couple of coaches, but so far they've heeded the warnings and not crossed the line.

Like Rich said, no big deal, when they happen, they happen. There's nothing special about a T - it's just another kind of foul.......

I'm at 723. Another 394 and I'm there! 😀

Adam

None, but I have no goals. I've had partners call one admin (book change) and one player T (threw the ball away from the ref at a TO and refused to retrieve it when given the opportunity) this year.

grunewar

Two from me - both on players. My P's have issued three on players. Seems to be down this year.....but, I don't care one way or another.

Coaches and I seem to get along ok......unless of course I let them get away with too much. Hmmmm 😮

jdw3018

Two, both on coaches. It is what it is.

I'd post my total so far, but I don't know if Brad's server can handle a number that big. 🙄

Exactly!

Technical fouls are never a criteria as to how well an official controls a game or how good they are at game management. The circumstances that relate to each individual technical foul do that.

1 - on HC. She thought she was my wife. Nuff said! 😉

Wow! ROTFLMAO!

Scratch85

Zero so far. Had a partner call a team T after granting an excessive TO. Thats it.

I do plan to call one on 02/08/10. 🙂

Welpe

I just did the tally. 7 unsporting T's so far. Ouch.

Four to head coaches - 2 middle school games, one 9 year old rec game and one freshman game

Three to players - two for spiking the ball and one for profanely informing my partner and I that he disagreed with our call selection.

Since when is going "over the back" a technical foul? 🙄
